Recent world events are reshaping the way businesses operate. Now more than ever, understanding the intersection of business and politics is critical for leaders across industries.

Based on an ESCP Business School study, this presentation offers a unique opportunity to explore how businesses in Canada navigate policy and strategy. Drawing on exclusive interviews with 35 business leaders and 30 policymakers, this session will provide real-world insights into how companies engage with government to drive success.

Dr. Ken Chan is a Partner at Optimus SBR, an independent management consulting firm, where he leads the health, government and public sector practice. He has served as Assistant Deputy Minister in the Ontario Government, as Assistant Director with the UK Government’s Better Regulation Executive, Senior Advisor in the Mayor’s Office at London City Hall, and Public Affairs Director at Vertex Pharmaceuticals. Ken has an Executive PhD in Management from ESCP Business School.
