Eastern Europe Group - Dinner

Dear friends,

Following V. Putin's speech in Munich on February 10, 2007, 15 years ago, there was the war with Georgia in 2008, the annexation of Crimea and then the Donbass in 2014, the invasion of Ukraine on February 24, 2022, and now an uncertain situation in Georgia.

For our next and 119th meeting, on March 17, we'll be looking at the latter situation through the examination of :

What future for Georgia ? Under Russian influence ?

To this end, we'll be calling on the only Frenchman of Georgian origin (to our knowledge) who is so active in affairs between the 2 countries : Georges Tsnobiladze.

A graduate of Georgia's Ecole Polytechnique and the Ecole Supérieure des Mines de Saint-Étienne, he heads several companies active in the civil and military sectors (Thales, Safran, MBDA, Pomagalski, Lacroix, etc.), mainly between France and Georgia, but also between France and Ukraine.

The schedule is as follows :

• 6:45pm: start of the aperitif
• 7.30pm: start of dinner
