Art Thinking at Stanford

The Vernissage : an art exhibition

The Art Thinking Sprint
 

Faculty from ESCP Business School will be at Stanford University to teach Art Thinking, a ground-breaking method I created with a French visual artist, Pierre Tectin.

 

At this occasion, students will learn Art Thinking and work towards building improbable art pieces within one of the five following themes: fashion, sustainability, AI, entrepreneurship, and government. The sprint will culminate in a vernissage hosted at the d-school Stanford University !

 

During the vernissage, students will have the opportunity to present their art pieces to investors, founders, artists, students, professors, and members of the Stanford / Bay Area community.

What is the Art Thinking ?

 

Art Thinking is an agile framework designed to generate improbable ideas and challenge the status quo. Developed by Professor Sylvain Bureau from ESCP Business School and visual artist Pierre Tectin, it combines six key practices  — donate, deviate, destroy, drift, dialogue, and display — to help participants rethink industries. For over a decade, Art Thinking has been taught in 14 countries to global leaders and showcased in world-renowned venues like the Centre Pompidou and Le Louvre.

Now, it’s coming to Stanford University !
