Artificial intelligence is transforming businesses and the nature of work and the workplace itself. Society will need to grapple with significant workforce transitions and dislocation. In the workplace, workers will need to acquire new skills and adapt to the increasingly capable machines alongside them. The mix of occupations will change, as will skill and educational requirements. Knowing how to apply the cutting-edge technology to a company’s competitive advantage and preparing employees for this new environment is becoming ever more crucial.
