Inaugural Lecture: Professor Argyro Avgoustaki

We are pleased to invite you to celebrate the appointment of Argyro Avgoustaki to the position of Full Professor.

In her inaugural lecture, Professor Avgoustaki will discuss her formation of her research identity and her path to becoming a Professor at ESCP Business School. She will also share her views on the meaning of education.

About the speaker:
Argyro Avgoustaki is a Full Professor of Management at ESCP Business School and the Head of Research at the London Campus. Her research interests lie at the intersection of human resource management and industrial relations.

Her work has been published in journals such as the Journal of Management, ILR Review, Industrial Relations: A Journal of Economy and Society, British Journal of Industrial Relations, Human Resource Management, Human Resource Management Journal, International Journal of Human Resource Management, International Review of Financial Analysis, and Economic and Industrial Democracy.

Her work has been also covered in media outlets such as The Financial Times, FT China, Business Insider UK, Le Monde, Le Figaro, The Daily Mail, Insider, CNBC, Le Soir, Forbes, The Guardian, Women’s Health, New Scientist, Entrepreneur, CNBC, and the World Economic Forum.

She is one of the founders of the CYGNA group, which represents a network of hundreds of female scholars from all over the world; an MBTI certified practitioner; and sits on the research committee of the Chartered ABS Council.
