Training in purchasing, the extreme supply chain

The Purchasing and Supply Chain Management professional group invites you to an extraordinary meeting on September 20 at 6:30 pm at the ESCP school.
François Soulet de Brugiere, ex-supply chain manager at Leroy Merlin and President of the Union des Ports de France, and Carine ASSAF (ESCP 01), head of purchasing development and training at AXA, will share their experiences on two themes: the extreme supply chain and purchasing training.
François Soulet de Brugière, fifty-eight, has a CAP in carpentry, and is also a graduate of Essec and IAE Bordeaux IV (DEA in management). In 1994, he helped set up Medilog, which was taken over in 1996 by the Clasquin freight forwarding group, of which he became Vice-Chairman. In 1999, he joined the shippers as international supply chain manager for the Leroy Merlin group (now Groupe Adeo), before becoming managing director of SRS in 2005. He is also Vice-Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Grand Port Maritime de Dunkerque and, since 2010, Chairman of the Unions des Ports de France. François lectures at various universities in France, Gabon, California and Russia. He is co-author of "Manuel des achats" published by Editions d'Organisation / Eyrolles.
Carine Assaf has 12 years' experience acquired in purchasing and methods across different industries and projects in companies such as Renault and Danone.
Her areas of expertise are processes, change management, category management, value analysis, and the implementation of sustainable development in purchasing. She was in charge of various categories such as subcontracting, intellectual services, events and commercial signage.
She is currently with AXA Group Procurement as "Manager Corporate Responsibility, Procurement Communication and Training".
She holds a Master's degree in Management from ESCP Europe and a Master's degree in Marketing from Saint Joseph University (Lebanon).
