PURCHASING & SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT

Integrate the lean method into your practices

Does "lean management" sound like a diet for corporate executives?
Do muda, kanban and jidoka remind you of as yet unknown martial arts?
Then it's time to learn about the LEAN method...

HOW TO INTEGRATE THE LEAN METHOD INTO YOUR PRACTICES?
INSA, UTC and ESCP Europe network evening

Originating in Japan, LEAN was first developed in the automotive industry. But can it be applied to other sectors? To answer this question, we invite you to join us on Wednesday May 27, 2015 at 7:00 pm sharp at ESCP Europe, for a round table discussion, followed by a cocktail reception.

We've been in touch with experts on the subject, two of whom have already agreed to be our guests of honor:
- Mr Jean-François LITT - Specialist in Lean Six Sigma skills transfer
- Mr Marc VAN RYMENANT - Specialist in neuroscience applied to digital media
They'll be on hand to share their expertise and give you the keys to applying this corporate philosophy on a day-to-day basis.

LEAN is a comprehensive business philosophy focused on customer value. Today, this method relies on cognitive processes, based on reasoning and decision-making, to promote transformation and productivity in a wide range of areas:
- Research and innovation
- Banking services
- Purchasing and supply chain management
- ... and certainly your field!
Come and take advantage of this major gathering of our three graduate associations ESCP Europe, UTC and INSA to exchange ideas on the LEAN philosophy and expand your professional network!
